Our client requires a portfolio manager to join its Group Finance division. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate entities, maintaining and monitoring a list of entities within group consolidation, working with business units to determine how to treat entities with regards to gathering & disseminating information requirements for group reporting, giving presentations to senior management explaining the rationale behind the establishment of new group entities, and ensuring that group entities are aligned to consolidation systems to enable reporting. You will have a working knowledge of corporate structures in a plc environment, strong all-round accountancy skills and knowledge of consolidation process and IFRS rules. For candidates from a consultancy*audit background, this role would present an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an ever-changing, fast-paced financial environment, whilst giving you exposure to a range of corporate*commercial situations.
